Mr. Smith has been at Pacific Lutheran since 2019 teaching Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Physical Education and a few other essential to life subjects such as Ancient Greek. He is a California transplant from the desert of Arizona who arrived at the glorious beach to attend and graduate from Biola University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then a few years later graduated from Westminster Seminary California in 2014 with a Master of Divinity.
He enjoys every outdoor activity under the sun if it’s at the beach or up on the mountain tops. In fact, my youngest girl will tell you that my favorite colors are the South Bay sunset. He has always been intrigued with nature and desired to give credit to the Creator for all that can be discovered and utilized in this world around us. Mr. Smith has three kiddos that are his joy: Kaylee, Benny and Lily.
“I grew up with two older brothers that were scientists, my dad telling me that I would be a doctor and my mom taking me birdwatching and enrolling me in college science classes in grade school. How could I not return the favor? I love teaching kids about God’s creation and discovering what he will display to us each day.”
